1. Complete Local Operation

LocalGPT is designed with privacy as the core principle. The entire AI assistant runs completely on your device without any external communication.

This means:

• No conversations, queries, or responses are ever transmitted to external servers
• All AI processing happens locally on your device using on-device models
• No internet connection is required for core functionality
• Your conversations remain completely private and never leave your device
• We cannot access, view, or analyze any of your interactions with the AI

Exception: Optional Crash Reports

Similar to other iOS apps, if you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your device's privacy settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports to help improve app stability. These reports contain no personal information or conversation data.

2. Local Data Storage with iCloud

We do not collect, store, or have access to any user data, conversations, or personal information. All app data is stored securely using Apple's iCloud, which means:

• Conversation history - Stored in your personal iCloud account
• User preferences and settings - Synced across your Apple devices via iCloud
• AI model interactions - Kept within your private iCloud storage
• Personal information - Protected by Apple's iCloud encryption

Your data remains under your control within Apple's secure iCloud infrastructure. We never have access to your iCloud data, and it's protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption standards. This allows you to seamlessly sync your conversations across your Apple devices while maintaining complete privacy.

3. No Third-Party Access

Because LocalGPT operates entirely offline with no data transmission, there is no sharing of information with third parties. No analytics services, advertising networks, or other external services have access to your data.

4. Data Security

Your conversations and data security are protected through multiple layers:

• Device Security: Use device lock screens and authentication
• iCloud Encryption: Your data is protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption
• Apple ID Protection: Secure your Apple ID with two-factor authentication
• System Updates: Keep your device's operating system updated
• Physical Access: Anyone with access to your unlocked device can access the app

5. Children's Privacy

LocalGPT does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since all processing happens locally on the device with no data transmission, children's privacy is fully protected. 6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
